Gods Gift

The waves crash upon the sand,
As birds of the air take to the sky,
Far above the sun permeates warmth,
As the small children play,
The grass does its skillful dance,
As the late summer sun cools,
I look out over this depiction,
And marvel over gods wonderful world.

  2. =) It made me smile internally! Loved it. That's one thing you have to remember about poems, they can be basically any length! I like the observation of how grass really does practically dance!

  3. You know what they say about missing whats right in front of us. I do believe, personally, that this applies. So many of us, self included, just forget that Nature is awesome... even that gross little stick bug outside your window.
